Sterling Ridge Infrastructure - Civil, formerly SLR Contracting Group Inc., has been a significant player in the heavy civil construction field for in excess of 30 years. The respective founding corporations boast in excess of eighty years of collective experience in heavy civil construction. Sterling Ridge Infrastructure - Civil has the experience, expertise and extensive resources necessary to manage and execute heavy civil construction projects of any magnitude. Our focus has been the construction of roads, bridges, sewers and watermains. Sterling Ridge Infrastructure - Civil is proud to have been a contributing sub-contractor to many large projects including, the Gordie Howe International Bridge - Canadian Point of Entry Surcharge and Concrete Works, the WDBA Hydro One Transmission relocation, the Herb Grey Parkway and the New Brighton Beach Generating Station in Windsor, Ontario.
Sterling Ridge Infrastructure - Power, formerly Ridge National Inc., undertakes major infrastructure projects utilizing the significant resources and experience of the Sterling Ridge Group The division routinely performs large infrastructure projects, Electrical Utility work and High Voltage Transmission and Distribution, Substations and Renewable Energy Projects. The Team Members of Sterling Ridge Infrastructure have undertaken work in many significant projects. Sterling Ridge Infrastructure - Power proficiently and successfully self-performs in several diverse areas including mechanical and heavy civil manufacturing, electrical and maintenance with a strong focus on infrastructure. The companies in the Sterling-Ridge Group self-perform the majority of work. The Group prides itself on maintaining long-term, experienced employees who are able to guide difficult projects through challenging schedules.
Sterling Ridge Architectural Systems –formerly operating as Ridge Architectural Systems, manufactures and installs glass/glazing and ACM composite panels. Its state-of-the-art facility and specialized team are positioned to be a significant contender in this growing industry.
Sterling Ridge General Contracting, formerly operating as Loaring Construction, is an accomplished general contractor in Essex County. For the past 70 years Sterling Ridge General Contracting has successfully and efficiently undertaken projects in the industrial, commercial and institutional sectors. The wide variety of projects performed include industrial buildings, schools, sportsplexes and transportation facilities. They have also built medical facilities and performed extensive work in the automotive plants.
Sterling Ridge Logistics, formerly Sterling Grandview Ltd., is an experienced trucking and logistics contractor with a fleet of 24 tractors to accommodate the transportation of aggregate material and heavy equipment floating. The Logistics division facilitates the timely delivery of products to intended construction sites and performs the logistics for transporting heavy equipment in a timely manner to ensure maximum production.
Sterling Ridge Utilities. (October 2020) The Sterling Ridge Group Inc. is pleased to announce the opening of its new Division, Sterling Ridge Utilities Inc. Our Utilities Division will carry out Directional Drilling activities including horizontal directional drilling; horizontal jack and bore; cable, conduit and fiber optic installation; and gas installation. Led by John Wolf Jr. and Chris Robinson, each of whom has extensive experience in this field, our client service will be superior, timely, and cost-effective.
Global Electric & Lighting (2020) Inc. The Sterling Ridge Group welcomed Global Electric & Lighting to its family in March 2020. Global specializes in LED lighting, from supply to installation to maintenance. Our technicians offer a wide range of electrical services, including system upgrades, fixture repairs, relamps or general maintenance. Our technicians undertake jobs of all sizes and are master licensed and registered with ESA. The team at Global Electric & Lighting Inc. is committed to bringing our clients the best maintenance and installations.
Smith Contracting Inc. is an experienced recycling / crushing Contractor that operates two complete crushing plants to satisfy specific customer / contract needs. Our centrally located Windsor yard provides concrete / asphalt recycling services. Our clients include the asphalt industry, quarries, ministry of transportation contractors and municipal contractors. Smith's portable crushing plants enable it to be versatile in it's ability to satisfy project needs.
