The founding principals and constituent corporations of Sterling Ridge have been in business since 1977, successfully and skillfully tackling a wide variety of construction endeavours. Employee Health, Safety, and Environmental Excellence

December 2022

We at Sterling Ridge Group know that our employees are our best asset. We would like to take this opportunity to recognize two of our employees who excel at what they do. Each of Trevor and Brad go above and beyond, working safely, efficiently and effectively. Congratulations Trevor and Brad!

  • Trevor Brady is a Superintendent with Sterling Ridge Groups Infrastructure Division and has been with the company for seven years. Trevor has extensive experience as an Electrician and has been a member of the IBEW Local 773 for 31 years. Trevor and his crew are currently working on the Gordie Howe International Bridge Project installing cable trays on the edge girders of the bridge deck. Trevor’s commitment to safety is simple: ensure everyone is working safely, be thorough, and practice due diligence. When Trevor is not at work, he enjoys camping with his family, golfing in the summer, and enjoys playing hockey in the winter.

  • Brad Brenko has been in Construction since 2003 and has worked in Utilities since 2005. Working for Sterling Ridge Group Inc. is a family affair as Brad’s brother and father are employed with the Group. Brad’s safety strategy is to prioritize that his crew goes home safely every night. When he is not working, Brad enjoys cooking. His son tells us Brad’s pierogies are the best!

National Day of Mourning

Sunday, April 28th

On this solemn occasion, Sterling Ridge Group joins the nation in observing the National Day of Mourning, held annually on April 28th. We ask everyone to join us and our nation in a moment of silence at 11 AM on April 28th. This day serves as a poignant reminder of the lives lost, injuries sustained, and families forever impacted by workplace accidents and occupational diseases.

As we reflect on this day's profound significance, let us renew our commitment to workplace safety and health. Let us honour the memory of those we have lost by advocating for safer working conditions and fostering a culture of awareness and prevention.

Together, let us stand in solidarity with workers, families, and communities affected by workplace tragedies. Let us strive to create a future where every individual returns home safely at the end of each day.
