Sterling Ridge Infrastructure Civil and Power GTA Operations - Sterling Ridge Infrastructure (SRI) has a strong presence in Windsor, ON including an office support staff of over 50 individuals ranging from Operations, Project Managers, Coordinators, Payroll, Accounts Payables, and Fleet Management. In addition, SRI owns and operates over 250 pieces of late model heavy equipment. SRI has the knowledge and capability to take on projects in the renewables, electrical power, institutional, commercial, industrial, infrastructure, and heavy civil sectors. SRI intends to utilize these resources along with local GTA  workers to further expand our opportunities and markets.  The expansion into the Greater Toronto Area will allow us to deliver  superior quality projects to a larger client base.

County Road 92 Bridge Replacement

The work included the removal and replacement of 2 bridge structures on County Rd 92 in Simcoe County. This included the removal of asphalt, removal of the existing bridge structures, excavation and grading, sheet piling for phasing of the work, installation of pre-cast box culverts, waterproofing, installation of precast RSS walls, guide rails, and asphalt paving. There were significant challenges to overcome as the work had to be completed in stages due to it being completed on a busy rural highway. There was also winter conditions, deep excavations and an extensive sheet-piling system in order to support the road. The work was self-performed with the exception of waterproofing, guide rails, and asphalt paving.

This was a design build project for the Township of Brock. The work involved included the removal of the existing structure and construction of a new 15 meter span bridge over the Beaver River. Concrete abutments & wingwalls were poured in place and deck was made up of precast concrete box girders.

The team members heading up the Greater Toronto Area operations have considerable experience in the Electrical and Infrastructure industries.

  • Director of Operations, Carm Agosta, has more than 40 years experience managing large projects and people. He oversees the GTA workforce who are involved in the supply of diverse services including new site buildings, Water/Sewer system, Auxiliary Boiler House, and Rehab of large site Administration buildings. Carm has also managed various EPC,PC, and C contracts at Power stations throughout Ontario. He has experience in providing oversight to RFP processes, participating in evaluation and selection of vendor proposals, and negotiating contracts.

  • Anthony Vaters is dedicated to Business Development and Project Management.  Anthony has 13 years of project / construction management experience.  During the 13 years, he has been involved in the completion of the many large projects including Switchyards, Transitions compounds; deep sea cable install from Labrador to Newfoundland; Wind Farms from civil to commissioning and final turn over; Transmission lines,; Full dam replacements; Decommissioning dams; Tank Farms; upgrading live gas plants, and new construction of gas plants; Upgrader facilities;  Underground ball mill construction, concrete/installation of mechanical; Powerhouse, Paste plant and crusher plant, as well as bridges.

  • Project Manager Lucas Agosta joined Sterling Ridge Infrastructure (formerly Ridge National)  in 2015.  He has managed various successful civil and electrical projects across Ontario. Lucas is well versed in electrical infrastructure including substations, solar power, and wind power. He also has the experience and knowledge to undertake civil infrastructure projects including earthworks, drainage systems, road building, and foundations. Lucas has worked on multiple notable projects including Duart TS(Hydro One), Erieau Wind Farm(GDF Suezna), Newell HVDC Transformer Station(ATCO), Dunnville TS(Hydro One), Niagara Wind Farm(Boralex), County Rd 92 Bridge Replacement(County of Simcoe), Transmission Line Relocation(WDBA), and Lakeshore Switching Station(Hydro One).
